Great Product - unless you usually dye your hair at home.

I have tried this product and found it very easy to apply to my hair. The pain was the fact you need to apply in damp hair and then wash out afterwards. It makes everything take so much longer. The shampoo was lovely and I enjoyed the fragrance of both the shampoo and gel dye. However, as a home hair dye user I wouldn't recommend this. It took longer from start to finish then using my usual hair dye and obviously lasted for less time then my hair dye. However, if I was still getting my hair coloured at the salon (pre-COVID) then I think this product would be great for me. I used to wait at least 8 weeks between colours due to the cost but I spent the last week to 10 days doing anything to cover my grey roots - think wearing hats and using a coloured hair spray. This produce would certainly make that last week to 10 days easier for me.

Great coverage

This product was really easy to use. The instructions are clear to follow and gave great coverage. I like to smell and it didn't dry my hair out as other products can do. I would recommend it to anyone.

Game Changer for me.

I was very excited to try this product, having all of a sudden been visited by the Grey hair Fairy during lockdown, had numerous visible Grey's which I didn't know what to do with and a total hair dye wouldn't be required. Having not dyed my hair before, I found his super easy to use, came with a little 'toothbrush' for easy and precise application, smells great and has lasted well meaning a top up perhaps once per th will be adequate. I will certainly be using this from now on, even given the price. Awesome product!

Easy to use and not too messy. Easy application and good coverage once on. Really pleased and hair feels healthy snd looks shiny too.

Rudy Giuliani wash out

Washed out after one wash, tried it again, and again washed out after one wash. Very disappointing. More of a wash in wash-out product than a gradual fade after a few washes. Would only recommend if you need colour for one night only and dont bother if you have dark hair.

I have to admit this worked much better than I thought it would, it was perfect to cover my grey roots whilst in lockdown and much better than some other leading brands Ive used in the past. The colour was a perfect match for my medium to dark brown hair. I have quite alot of grey in my roots, which it covered really well and was quick and simple to apply. It lasted well for about 5 washes and is ideal if you don't want a permanent colour, would highly recommend. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is a tad highly priced but does what is says on the tin and left my hair nice and soft and shiny too.

Frustrating

I tried the light chestnut last year- it didnt take. So I tried dark chestnut this year, no coverage at all of my roots but it darkened the rest of my hair (and the batchroom- its so messy!). They should state clearly that it doesn't have good coverage- onl;y use if you have a few wee grey hairs poking through. Stick to normal box dyes for proper grey coverage. Currently trying to find the expiry date and serial number of the bottle, as they need this for any complaints follow up. Dug the box out of the recycle bin- no sign of exp date. I give up. I spend a lot with CR on conditioners. They are good but honestly- Im going elswehere I think.

Hmmm not great

I had high expectations for this product but sadly it just did not deliver. Its soo much flaf for a few days colour. The cost is quiet high for a product that doesnt last long.
