My curls love it!
4I have very thick, 2c/3a long hair that gets very thirsty. Since trialling this product after cleansing and conditioning, I apply as a leave in conditioner/styler and my hair drinks it up. Some hair creams make my hair feel heavy and weigh the curls down or make them stringy, but this doesn't. It moisturises nicely and gives a light hold before I add gel and/mousse for a stronger hold. I would definitely be keen to use again, but the price is a bit steep, so perhaps I'd wait till it's on promotion!
Noticeable difference over two weeks
4I've been trying the Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Cream with Flaxseed Oil for a couple of weeks. The cream doesn't really have a strong smell and is easy to apply - I used about a walnut sized blob (I have very thirsty hair). The first time I used it on wet hair, then let it dry naturally but I found it left my hair quite dry and zzy. Since then, after every use I have follo it with my usual curl control moose and I have to say that over the past couple of weeks my curls have improved and they do have more definition. I have tried it a couple of times on dry hair to refresh my curls but this just left them brittle. I think if your hair responds well to curl creams then it is worth trying.
Great product
5This product certainly calmed any zz and lasted well in my very long, very curly hair. A little pricy, but if you find something that works then you pay the price.
All in one styling
5I have truly enjoyed using this. Normally I end up using multiple products to get zz free, defined curls with heat protection for when I diffuse my hair. This cream is an all in one and you don't need very much compared to other products which I get through very quickly. The smallest amount through my curls, a bit of scrunching and diffusing the curls dry. The best wash day I've ever had with just one styling product. I'm so amazed.
Styled curls
5I discovered this product for free thanks to BzzAgent and I have been using it for weeks now. It is really easy to apply and my curls are amazing. Not greasy and very hydrating. You only need a small amount of the product and your curls will look perfect for days. I would highly recommend this product!
It's a lovely product but just not for my hair type..
3After using this product a good few times, I've decided it's not for me. First impressions were great and I even made a little video saying so, but over time I've gone back to my usual products that keep my curls defined. Although the product felt lovely on my hair, my curls ended up a bit flat and zzy. I do think it would be fine for a night out but you would have to wash your hair again the next day to start over because my hair just ended up quite lifeless. It didn't keep my curls defined for the day after. I have mixed Afro European hair and I don't usually wash my hair every day but with this product I would have to. The texture of this product is really lovely and it feels very light on your hair but I prefer a more oily based product that will help keep the zz down, make my hair glossy and bring out my curls better.
Marvelous for curly hair
4Really wonderful hair cream. At first I thought I had used too much as my hair felt a bit over urated, but as my hair dried it disappeared into my hair. I don't think my hair was curly enough to get the full benefit of this, but would be perfect for very curly hair.
Fantastic product
5Wow I has made my 11 year old very happy this product , she has very unruly curly hair and for ages we've been trying everything to tame her lovely hair , but nothing ever really worked or kept the nice curl in. We have used this product and it is fantastic not only does it tame her curls it's also being the lovely curly locks back to life and not just a matted mess , the curls stay almost perfectly formed until the next hair wash. The curl cream does not leave the hair greasy looking but gives it a lovely healthy shine , we love it .
Amazing!!
5I've got naturally wavy hair and I've never really been able to get a nice curl, ever. I used this for the first time and honestly, it's brilliant. I only use a pea sized amount and it works wonders and my hair is pretty long so it's good value for ey too because it's going to last a long time. I'll definitely keep using this product.
Wow
5Wow is all I have to say , I have used this product on my 10year old who has the most unruly hair ever, its naturally very curly but also very dry and by the afternoon she looks like a zzy ball, this product has completely changed the way her curls look and they staying looking this way until next hair wash ( normally twice a week ) thank you for a great product .
