Amazing!

I was super excited to receive this surprise package! @christopherobinparis Colour Shield Shampoo and Colour Shield Mask to try via @bzzagent I have had these products now for 2 ths to test. Using both of them together, they have left my hair feeling fresh, made it feel light, my wispy bits and little bits of zz were controlled, it made my hair nice and bouncy and felt super luxurious. In addition I felt that it took longer before my hair started looking greasy and needing a wash. The only downside for me was that I wasn't keen on the smell but after it was rinsed and hair dried you couldn't smell it. I would happily use more regularly as I love how it makes my hair feel... I would happily recommend it to ends and family family but think it would be more amazing with a better smell! Thank you for the opportunity it was a brilliant product test! Fantastic shampoo wow

5

I done my research before using this shampoo and seen that it was on the expensive side, so my expectations were really high. I have always been a £5 shampoo kind of person. My hair is dyed chestnut brown similar to my natural colour. My hair is long and straight and on the dry side with some split ends. The first use when squeezed out I realised the smell was really unique. A beautiful smell. Very pleasant. Lathers up nicely and rinsed out well without leaving my hair tuggy or feeling like hay. When my hair was dried I can only explain my hair was shiny and bouncy as though I had been to the hairdressers. The smell was still noticeable and I felt I only had to wash my hair after 3 days which is good for me. I am really impressed with the shampoo but I am unsure I would spend the asking price for it.

Perfect

I love this shampoo, it has a great smell and made my hair feel so clean and my freshly dyed hair lasted longer, highly recommended

Made my colour shine !

I absolutely loved how this shampoo made my colour look so vibrant and shiny! It lasted for days in between washes ! You really don't need to use much and the bottle lasts for a long time ! Only negative is I felt like it didn't lather up very easily.

Great shampoo for my difficult hair!

I really love the shampoo, its leaves it lovely and clean and strong without residue. I think I've finally found a couple of shampoo's that work for my difficult hair (fine, curly, zzy, greying but dyed, menopausal hair) and this is one of them. Its been a long search. Its worth the cost as I don't use half as much as I would cheaper shampoo's - I'd say the same for the conditioner in this line too.

Shampoo Reformulated!

1

You reformulated the shampoo and didn't let customers know! It's a completely different shampoo not as good as the previous version. This was my favorite shampoo and you ruined it. Have the other products been reformulated as well? Is Christophe Robin still involved with the company since he sold it?

Why did you reformulate?

1

I hate when companies redesign a product and continue to use the same name. I really liked the shampoo and don’t understand why they reformulated it. Now I need to find another shampoo. This version is much more drying than the prior version. If you reformulate something, please use a different name. This is a completely different product.

Healthy Looking Hair

5

After trialling this shampoo for a couple of weeks, my hair is looking healthy and my colour has stayed fresh. My hair type is fine but the shampoo hasn't weighed it down at all and it feels really soft. The scent smells expensive, like a grapefruit/floral mix - it was lovely to lather it up and lasts on the hair after washing. It reminds me of when I get my hair done in a salon. I would definitely purchase this product again.

Hair like silk

Due to the lockdown, I had to wait some time to try this product but it was worth the wait!! It smells lovely (hence I was looking forward to using it!) and having coloured hair, I am always on the lookout for a product which prolongs my colour, while still nourishing my hair. If I am honest, I have always been quite happy with (and always seem to go back to) a particular brand, so was hoping this shampoo would be as good. It didn't disappoint! My hair was so silky smooth after using the Christophe Robin shampoo and that silliness actually lasted four days (I don't use products in my hair - just heat protecting spray) so I was impressed with that. As I already said, it smells lovely too and that stuck with me for the whole day. If I had to fault the product, the only thing I would say is that I had to use quite a lot of it to get a good larger. To be fair, my hair is quite thick, although above shoulder length so not too long, but I still needed to use two applications to make sure my hair was clean. Give the price of the product, (although I received it free as a sample to review), I would have preferred to have used a smaller amount to get the same effect. That said, the way my hair felt afterwards really did make up for that. I had my hair coloured three weeks ago and have used the Christophe Robin shampoo exclusively since then, so I could gauge whether it improves how my colour holds and I have to say my colour looks great. It hasn't faded and aside from my roots now starting to come through (something not even the best shampoo in the world can prevent) my colour looks as great as the day my stylist did it. So, on that front, the shampoo seems to do as it says on the bottle! Overall, I would recommend Christophe Robin Colour Shield Shampoo for coloured hair. If you don't mind doing two applications and want (very!) silky hair which holds its colour, then this shampoo will do the trick.

Wasn't sure at first but love it

5

When I first opened and tried this shampoo I wasn't sure about it at all. Firstly, it has a very herbal sort of smell. It's not offensive but it's not my preferred scent in a shampoo. When I used it on my hair, it almost made it feel too clean, I thought I was going to end up with a dry tangled mess- my hair felt very different after using it. Happily, that wasn't the case at all and after a blow dry my hair was lovely and soft and shiny with no residual scent. I'm now a total convert, love the way his makes my hair feel and look. It feels soft and strong and clean. I can't speak so much to the color preserving properties because my color is very old and washed out at the moment but regardless I am very happy with this shampoo paired with the conditioner mask. It makes me almost butt length hair look lovely and even with my length it lasts ages because you only need a tiny amount. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this brand and will repurchase when these are used up.
