Its OK.....
I was really excited to get this kit....as I have heard great things about this piticular product mostly the hair mask. It all worked fine....I have thin dry hair and was hoping for some help in hydration and making it feel silky again.... not as well as i hoped. But what really makes me not like using this product is the smell!!......it smells like a cross between old lady perfume and baby lotion. Really hard to get over that and want to use more. Bummer!!!
Regenerating regimen
This has greatly improved my dry thin hair. I am able to style without the flyaway non styled look! My hair is soft and smooth and it smells great
Just Mehhh
After watching the video tutorials, I was super excited to try this line. I don’t know, maybe I was overly encouraged by the marketing, though I myself am a marketer (stupid.stupid.stupid.lol), or perhaps, it was that I received samples of their rose volume scrub shampoo stuff (looks like a chocolate facial exfoliator) along w the clarifying salt/scalp shampoo scrub …. & I LOVED both samples. I expected, at the very least, the Regenerating Regimen, would make my hair as smooth as it is when I get it professionally blown out, especially cuz blowout places use pretty average product in my experience (think: Amika, B&B, Redken, Kevin Murphy, Pulp Riot, Aveda, etc), yet somehow my hair turns into silk. So I kinda expected this glass, silk-like effect I saw on the site & not AT ALL was it even close. It’s just an avg shampoo/regimen/product line. I’m an Esty, I use high quality …ohh Everything lol, and I’ve had long hair my whole life - what I’m saying is I’m using the highest quality instruments w expert technique, and the product is “just mehhh” compared to even.. Redken.. yeahh I know right? I swear I’ve had better results from hacks like WOW, even. So sadly, I was dissatisfied but too busy (ehem, lazy) to return. I hastily assumed this regimen would fall somewhere in the neighborhood of the unique, proprietary quality experienced with other CR products; though again, it just wasn’t there, darn it. Wish I selected diff items, I suppose. I have long hair so I’ll just go through this pretty quickly anyhow. I guess I’m mostly bummed about the price point. Many products are average. Kerastate even has its over-priced avg product; you kind of just have to know the “winners” from each line; though, at price points like these, I def expected more. I wanted to be as impressed as I was w/ the samples I received & absolutely was not. Should it be helpful, I’d recommend the rose/pink volume shampoo & cleansing scalp scrub salt shampoo. Still think they’re wayyyy too pricey for what they are; however, they do give a spa-like quality to your everyday shower. And I like the cute packaging. Ohhh, - one last thing , bcuz the consistency of the product recommended above is thick and scrub-like; literal chunky salt, it’s easy to waste a lot while showering. I’d caution consumers to be careful when handling in-shower! I hate seeing pricey product just drop right off my hair n on the shower floor. Def not “easy” in that way.
